All CANREIG members have the opportunity to earn CANREIG Points based on courses, memberships, publications, seminars, workshops, and services purchased through CANREIG.
Awarding Points
For each pre-tax dollar spent on a course, membership, publication, seminar, workshop, and/or service, the member will be awarded 10 CANREIG Points, which can be viewed and monitored by the member under their login at www.CANREIG.com. There may be a delay in receiving points depending on the method of payment. If a member chooses to make a purchase online, the points will be awarded within two (2) business days from the date of the transaction. If payment is made by cheque, points will be awarded once the cheque has been honoured. The CANREIG Points have no cash value. CANREIG Points will be awarded on CANREIG’s discretion.
Discounted Items
For any items that are discounted or bundled, points will be awarded based on the discounted pre-tax price of the product or service, and not the original price.
Redemption of Points
CANREIG members can redeem their points for various products and services, including CANREIG’s products and services. Depending on the amount of points in a member’s points account, they can qualify to purchase different products and/or services using their CANREIG Points. Please refer to Points Redemption Chart to view all options available to choose from based on the points accumulated. CANREIG reserves the right to restrict point redemption on certain purchases.
The product or service that is purchased through the redemption of a member’s CANREIG Points will be delivered to the client in a timely manner. Postage for the item will be covered and will not be an additional charge for members when redeeming their CANREIG Points for a product.
Once a redemption of CANREIG Points is made, members can view their transaction under their login via the CANREIG website. The Points Statement will reflect the redeemed points and the product or service that it was redeemed for in addition to their new point total. A member’s Points Statement and Transcript will be used in the event of a dispute.
Accumulation of Points
Members can continue to accumulate points throughout their membership with CANREIG. Members that continue beyond the initial term of the membership will have any unredeemed points carried forward into the next year, provided they remain active members.
In the event they are no longer active members, they will be required to redeem their points within thirty (30) days of the date of expiration of their membership. If they choose not to redeem their points, on the thirty-first day after the expiration date of their membership, their points will become null and void.
